Holiday Music Shines at Hempstead Town Hall Tree Lighting Ceremony

A large group of people, including adults and children, gathered in front of a brightly lit Christmas tree in an outdoor setting.

On Monday evening, December 8, 2025, the sounds of the season filled Hempstead Town Hall as choir scholars from Jackson Main and band students from ABGS delivered a memorable performance for the Town of Hempstead’s annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony.

Families, community members, and local officials gathered to celebrate the start of the holiday season, and our scholars helped create a joyful, festive atmosphere through their music. Their performance showcased not only their talent, but also their dedication and the strong commitment of our music educators who guide and inspire them each day.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all students, staff, and families who supported this event and proudly represented Hempstead Union Free School District.

Thank you for helping spread holiday cheer throughout our community!
